Neal Bahrman studied art at Ventura College on the California coastline, where he enjoyed surfing and snorkeling while achieving three consecutive years on the Dean's Honor List. 

He won several awards for his art, and worked as a freelance commercial artist after leaving school, doing logo design and advertising graphic art and illustration. 

He has studied art history, interior design, and antique furniture styles.  A career in the construction/remodeling industry helped keep the wolves at bay (check out his other website at www.CaliforniaRemodelingContractor.com), but his creative nature has always kept him close to his love of art.
